Here at Cobra Concrete Cutting Services Co., we take pride in our experience, expertise, and top-of-the-line equipment. When you choose to work with our company, you can rest assured that you are getting one of the best cut and core concrete cutting services in the industry.

We offer core concrete services, and our seasoned team can tackle any problems you may encounter. All new hires, personnel, and management attend monthly safety meetings and come certified with an OSHA-30 Hour Construction Safety and Health Card in order to maintain our high safety standards. No matter what job you need done Cobra is available here 24 hours a day to help complete it safely and efficiently.

Despite concrete cutting’s misleading name, the process itself actually involves grinding down the concrete. Concrete saw blades hold diamonds set into place to create an abrasive surface, which grinds away at the concrete at high speeds, essentially “cutting” away at the material. Sharpening a diamond blade differs from how you would sharpen any other type of cutting utensil. As the blade itself gets worn down, new diamonds become exposed, allowing for continual use. Armed with our experience from servicing large contracting companies and municipalities, we provide the capability and skilled manpower to help you with your next concrete project. Our trained team of professionals come with extensive knowledge in many forms of cut and core concrete cutting methods such as Core Drilling, Wire Sawing, and Slab Sawing.

Core Drilling

If a round hole is what you require, then Core Drilling is our method of choice. We perform Core Drilling when exact, circular cuts are necessary. Our craftsmen can drill anywhere from 1/2″ to 60″ inch diameter holes and to virtually any depth. Our top-of-the-line core drills can cut various hard surface types like cement, rocks, and wood.

Lubricated with water for a dust-free operation, Core Drilling is the cleanest way to penetrate a concrete surface with circular precision. This technique ensures the safe-keeping of the structural integrity in surrounding areas by pushing through the surface in a twisting motion.

Typical applications of this procedure include HVAC openings, plumbing lines, floor drains, anchor holes and fiber optic runs. Other common implementations involve floor drains, sewer drains and tie-ins, and concrete testing samples.

Wall Sawing

Our Wall Sawing techniques precisely penetrate reinforced steel concrete, metal, masonry walls, and any other type of tough material in your way. Our team of skilled personnel can make full depth cuts in walls for door and window openings with no structural damage, making the pneumatic breaking of concrete walls obsolete. Our state-of-the-art Wall Sawing tools are able to make precise cuts in horizontal or vertical surfaces.

Cobra Concrete Cutting Services Co. is proud to offer either hydraulic and electric options for Wall Sawing. Our hydraulic wall saws provide more than enough power to saw through the toughest and thickest materials for your assignment. Alternatively, our electric wall saws can easily get to those hard to reach areas without compromising horsepower.

The most labor intensive of all concrete cutting jobs, Wall Sawing is the typical procedure for cutting doors, elevator openings, and most other building modifications.

Slab Sawing

Whether your job is sawing on a roof or inside a building, Cobra has the best saws and operators to complete your job efficiently. Requiring only one operator, our slab saws feature a diamond blade mounted on a walk-behind machine. We offer three top-of-the-line slab saw models to fit your job’s needs – gas, diesel or electric. Our saws are powerful, ranging from five to one-hundred and ten horse power and have a cutting depth of up to 32″ inches.

Slab Sawing is now commonly used in the repair and rehabilitation of concrete floors, asphalt parking lots, and roadways. This procedure is most widely used on concrete slab, suspended slab, bridge decks, and asphalt. Common Slab Sawing practices include removal of large areas of slab to make room for new concrete surfaces and cutting below grade trenches to install pipes.

Wire Sawing

Large concrete masses, metal engine blocks, and even copper chunks are no match for our proficient Wire Sawing division. If working space is already crowed or the material is too resilient for our conventional cutting methods, we substitute them for our Wire Sawing techniques. Our wire saws can cut anything at any depth, ranging from concrete masses to underwater piers.

Wire Sawing provides full depth cutting for any configuration of concrete walls or foundations by wrapping our diamond wire around and pulling. This procedure creates little noise and is the safest option for large-scale concrete removal.

Virtually nothing is impossible for our Wire Sawing division and it continually proves itself as a vital part of our success. Our customers benefit from the plentiful knowledge and experience of Diamond Wire Sawing on their projects. There are few objects – if any – that Cobra cannot cut with our top-of-the-line diamond wire saws.

Handheld Sawing

Over cutting corners becomes eliminated by our Handheld Sawing method. Handheld Sawing provides easy portability and speed to your projects, making it a more cost-effective option then the other cutting methods. Our state-of-the-art handheld saws are available in the hydraulic or electric models, depending on your particular need and are able to cut up to a 6″ depth.

Handheld Sawing is ideal for inside job sites with restricted working space. The hand saw can safely and effectively cut materials such as concrete, pipes, manholes and other strong material. These saws are carefully designed to cut flush with existing floors and walls to create HVAC openings and small openings for windows and doors.
